She was predeceased by: her parents, Ab Thompson and Vinda Allen Ratliff; her husband Richard A. Townsend; and her brother Joe Ratliff. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Christian of Scottown, Polly Anna Simpson (Brian) of Willow Wood, Ohio and Richard Townsend (Robin) of Willow Wood, Ohio; and her siblings, Roy Ratliff of Alabama and Sissy Lowe of Georgia. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
