He is survived by: his mother Dawn Schroeder; his sister Rina Smoot (Mike) of Proctorville, Ohio; his nephew Kory Smoot (Megan) of Huntington, WV; his niece Kelly Armstrong (Rusty) of Catlettsburg, KY; his great-nephew Ethon Smoot; and his great-nieces, Maddie, Maddy and Lexi.
