He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Bill" Wilson and Blanche Wilson (Henderson); his son Hobart Ray Wilson; his siblings, Glen Dale Wilson, Frederick Wilson, Earl Wilson, Hazel Ison, Mable Waddle, Elsie Hamlin, Wilma Simpson and Sandra Wilson; and his stepson Paul D. Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Ann Wilson (Stock) of Willow Wood; his children, Willie W Wilson (Linda) of Vinton, Ohio and Patricia Wamsley (Kenneth); his stepdaughter Suzanne Walker; his grandchildren, Jackie Wamsley, Logan Wamsley, Brian Walker (Stacey Strapp) of Gallipolis and Christopher Walker (Mylene) of Jacksonville; his great grandchildren, Rylei Wamsley and Caden Wamsley; his siblings, Robert G. Wilson of South Point, Shirley Rice (Preston) of Columbus Ohio and Mary Rutherford of South Point; and his sister-in-law Norma Jean Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
