He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hayes Shepherd; his parents-in-law, James "Skip" and Marcella Hayes; his sons, Bruce, Derrick (Jo) and Rodney Shepherd (Lori); his grandchildren, Allison, Brady, Hunter, Josie, Logan and Dixie; his great grandchild Braxton; and his siblings, Judy Shephard and Robert Shepherd Jr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
