With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Eugene Thompson of Sciotoville, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edgar and Mary Irene Thompson (McMeans). He is survived by: his wife Loria Thompson; his sons, Edgar E. Thompson II (Laura) of Hazlehurst, GA, Jason E. Thompson of Sciotoville and Rickey A. Thompson (Samantha) of Kenton, OH; his brother John W. Thompson of Sciotoville; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Andrew, Brian, Rickey, Nyah, Asa, Christian, Sarah and Jamie; his nephews, John W. Thompson II and Michael Thompson; and his close friend Steve Wheeler.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the D. W. Swick Funeral Home (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) (5951 Gallia St, Portsmouth, OH 45662).
