She is survived by: her children, Phillip Nelson (Melody) of Waverly and Valorie Shoemaker of Portsmouth; her sisters, Betty Bussey (Carl) of Franklin, TN and Phyllis Ann Parks; her grandchildren, Holly Williams (Jared), Joshua Shoemaker (Courtney), Lauren Shoemaker and Jude Bowman; her great grandchildren, Jackson Shoemaker, Erin Shoemaker and Ali Shoemaker; and her close friend Sue Burke.
