He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale I Carothers, Sr. and Ruth Bake Carothers Conaway; and his wife Shirley Minto Carothers. He is survived by: his daughter Vickie Burnsworth; his grandson Derrick Wood; his sons-in-law, Chuck DeVore and Greg Forrest; his brother Randy Conway; his children, Lorrie DeVore (Randy Ferguson) of Deersville, Tom Carothers, Jr. (Jill) of Scio, JoAnn Forrest of Scio and Theresa Harrison (Eric) of Scio; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Heath, Wade, LeAnn, Ashley, Dakota and Ailey; and his great grandchildren, Haley, Kylie, Cirsten, Analeigh, Austin, Cecilia, Otto and Kason.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Koch Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Scio, OH 43988). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
