It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Ross of Scio, Ohio, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Leggett and Mary Leggett (Jones); and her children, Deborah Hart and Gary Hart. She is survived by: her children, Janice Manzella (Salvatore) of Scio, David Hart (Dottie) of Malvern, Robert Hart (Jennifer) of Minerva and Ed Hart (Candy) of Malvern; and her grandchildren, Bobby Hart (Denise) of Minerva, Brian Hart, Jonathan Hart, Corissa Thompson (Ben), LaVonda McGee, Christina Hart of Malvern, David A. Hart of Malvern, Michael Hart of Minerva, Debbie Hart of Robertsville, Bobby Jo Hart of Waynesburg, Melanie Hart of Waynesburg, Ashley Hart of Senecaville, Galley Brooks (Amy) of Robertsville, Ed Brooks (Tara) of East Canton, Josh Brooks (Tosha) of Malvern, Nick Manzella of Carrollton, Amber Marcus (David) of Bergholz and Eric Mansella (Brooke) of Spain. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home, Inc. (206 E Lincolnway, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
