With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Patterson of Scio, Ohio, born in Dennison, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Martin and Linnie Lavina Patterson (Abbuhl); and his siblings, Ronald, Larry Patterson, Darel Bryan, Sybil Warbargar and Margaret "Peg" Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores O. Barker; his children, Jeffrey Patterson, Danial Patterson (Cindy) and Margaret "Beth" Starkey (Bob); his grandchildren, Alan Patterson (Michele), David Patterson, Richard C. Patterson (Brittany), Amanda Hundley (R. J.), Jennifer McGuire, Rebecca Stout (Jamie), Joshua Patterson, Elizabeth Horner (Daniel) and Christopher Patterson; and his sisters, Theresa "Terri" Peters (Melvin) and Shirley Bonanno. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
