He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank Hovanick, Sr. and Hattie Moroz Hovanick. He is survived by: his children, Shane Hovanick (Melissa) of Green Bay, WI, Jared Hovanick (Dawn) of New Philadelphia and Nicole Lewis of Adena; his grandchildren, Brock Hovanick (Alisha), Oliver Rusciano, Henry Hovanick, Trinity Lewis and Lucinda Lewis; and the mother of his children Luan Touvell.
