He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Fowler Copeland; his sons, Jeff Copeland (Tammy) of Bowerston and Jim Copeland (Tricia) of Dennison; his grandchildren, Casey, Travis, Tia, Cyrus, Satchel and Anisa; his great grandchildren, Blayne, Karlie, Kiera, Kolby, Hunter, Hazel, Liam, Rowan, Lucy and Blaire; and his brother Dean Copeland.
For many years he donated his time coaching in the Conotton Valley Little League, as well as umpiring.
