He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Kuhns and Nancy Bedell Kuhns; his stepson Kevin Slauter; and his brother Butch Kuhns. He is survived by: his wife Karen L. Slauter Kuhns; his children, Candice "Candy" Kuhns of Scio, Charles "Charlie" Kuhns, Jr. of Scio and Clint Kuhns of Washington, PA; his stepchildren, Lena Parker of Scio and Wayne Slauter; his stepgrandchildren, Zack, Haley Parker, Angel and Owen Slauter; and his siblings, Rev. Richard Kuhns of Columbia Station, Nancy Starcher of Elyria, Layne Kuhns of Elyria and Jim Kuhns.
