It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin M Herndon (Scio, Ohio), born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Mitchell Herndon and Ella Baclesse Herndon. He is survived by: his wife Alma Johnson Herndon; his daughters, Ellen Keener (Reuben) and Patricia Keffer (Kevin); his grandchildren, Tess Kirtz (Dan), Mitch Keener (Jackie), Ben Keffer (Tara), Anne Crosson (Isaia) and Ella Keffer; and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Alex Kirtz, Reagan, Ross, Emily Keffer and Alma Crosson.
