He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Ritchie and Margaret Ahrens Ritchie; and his brothers, Wilford (Boots) and Ralph Ritchie. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Leasure Ritchie; his son David E. Ritchie of Trabuco Canyon; his nephew Jeff Ritchie; and his pet Angus.
