He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lees and Eula Lees; his wife Ruth Ann Mitchell Lees; his daughter Sherry Zebley; and his brother Roger Lees.

He is survived by: his daughters, Trina Eastham (William) of Graysville and Lori Lees of Akron. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
