He was predeceased by: his parents, William Conrad Ritchie and Bertha Virginia Leasure Ritchie; his wife Janet Kay Pittman Ritchie; his daughter Joetta Virginia Todd; and his siblings, Anna Riggenbach (Homer), William "Buddy" Ritchie (Nora), Carol Busche (Floyd), Shirley Jowers (Marvin) and Dwight "Bus" Ritchie.
He is survived by: his daughter Julia Kay Bell (Greg); his sister Betty Lou Brown; his granddaughters, Kaylea Marie, Faith Elizabeth and Rebecca Lynn Bell; and his son-in-law David Todd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
