He is survived by: his wife Vicky Bettem Byers; his children, Tonya Adkins (Matt) of Fresno, Ohio and Steve Byers (Julie) of Proctorville, Ohio; his siblings, Bonnie Parsons (Bill) of Sardis, Ohio, Debbie Dye of Sardis, Ohio, Marcia Stalder (Stanley) of Sardis, Ohio and Danny Byers of Powhatan, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Zade Adkins and Avery Byers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
