With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Wayne Gumbert of Sardinia, Ohio, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Gumbert and Ada Gumbert (Bush); and his brother-in-law Joe Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Pierce Gumbert; his sons, Bobby Gumbert (Pam) of Hillsboro and Charles "Charlie" Gumbert of Sardinia; his granddaughter Nicole Shawhan (Ray); his great grandchildren, Kenny and Blake Shawhan; his siblings, Jim Gumbert (Mary) of Cincinnati, Fred Gumbert of Cincinnati and Phyllis Taylor (Jim) of Cincinnati; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Pierce and Jeffrey Rogers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
