It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Thompson of Sardinia, Ohio, born in Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse McCulley and Tinnie McCulley (Gilliam); her husband Lucian Thompson; her son Jerry Thompson; and her siblings, James McCulley, Janelle Broadus, Dorothy Killion and Tootie DeChamplain.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy; her son-in-law Jeff Myers of Brookville, Ohio; her son Doug; her daughter-in-law Patti Thompson of Miamisburg; and her sister Marie Willoughby of Sardinia. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Margie's name to the First Baptist Church of Fincastle, 12900 State Route 62, Sardinia, Ohio 45171.
