It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda M. Smith of Sardinia, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Morrison and Orba Morrison (Ianis); her son John Croy; her grandson David Ballein; and her siblings, John Morrison, Sarah Frances Shorter, Joan Moore, Don Morrison, Tom Morrison, Robert Morrison and Ann Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Smith; her children, Daniel Croy (Regina) of Sardinia, Tina Rowley (Tony) of Danville and Tonya Croy of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Felicia Underwood (Geoff), Sarah Chisman (Dustin Lewis), Corey Ballein (Brooke), Blake Croy (Cailee), Austin Chisman, Amanda Ballein (Molly), Haven Hicks (Trevon) and Johnathan Croy; her great grandchildren, Maleah, Cameron, Grayson, Anikyn, Carlee, Dallas, Makenzie, Justin, Makailah, Renesmay and Parker; her sisters, Thelma Jacobs of Georgia and Judy Frederick of Florida; and her close friends, Tammy and Fred Wardlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pricetown Church of Christ (2070 OH-131, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Pricetown Church of Christ, 2070 SR 131, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
