He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie L. Goodwin and Hazel Goodwin (Wood); his wife Doris Eileen Goodwin (Blanton); his grandson Joseph Young; his sons-in-law, Richard Barlion and Ron Young; his siblings, Margaret Shivener (Goodwin), Geneva Robbins (Goodwin), Ralph Goodwin, Patricia Rothwell (Goodwin), Carol Sumrall (Goodwin) and Robert Goodwin; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Goodwin, Don Shivener, Harold Robbins, Dale Rothwell and Noel Davis.
He is survived by: his children, David Goodwin (Carol), Darlene Hall (Wade), Diana Conner (Rich), Lori Setters, Linda Young and Doug Goodwin (Tina); his grandchildren, Stacy Worthy (Ken), Heather Robillard (Mike), Richard Barlion, Jr. (Ines), Michael Barlion, Jacob Young, Jennifer Setters, Gage Goodwin (Kennedy), MacKenzie Goodwin, Bailey Goodwin and Bradie Goodwin; his great grandchildren, Cameron Worthy, Sydney Worthy, Olive Robillard, Oakley Dorger, Adam Barlion, Eddie Barlion and Kora Young; and his sister Louise Davis.
