She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Besser and Anna Mae Hudson (Albersherdt); her husband Richard Ely Pershing; her son Geoffrey Hudson Pershing; her grandson Noah Ely Pershing; and her siblings, Karol Kay Sweitzer and Bill Hudson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie (Bruce Cremer), Beth (Tim Wright) and Jenny (Gary Cierley). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Sardinia Food Pantry, 7548 Tri-County Highway, Sardinia Ohio 45171 .
