It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy Layman of Sardinia, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Layman and IcyBelle Layman (Prather); his wife Betty Layman (Melvin); his daughter Sharon Workman; and his brother Ronald Lee Layman.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Layman (Missi) of Hillsboro, Dona Layman (Sharon Saunders) of Trotwood and Alan Layman (Chris) of Sardinia, Ohio; his son-in-law John Workman of Williamsburg, Ohio; his grandchildren, Eric Layman, Tami Renshaw, Andy Hall, Amy Riggs, Shauna Nevels, Shannon Workman, Justin Nevels and Jamie Layman; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Layman (Larry Grohowski) of Batavia and Dixie Utter (Gary) of Georgetown, Ohio; and his nieces and nephews, Lee Layman, Seth Layman, Adam Layman, Kathy Rust, Denise Leggett and Susan Meadors. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
