He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Ercole and Jenny Lind Martellotti (Underwood); his wife Judy Lynne Martellotti (Koch); his brother Carlo Albert Martellotti; and his granddaughter Emily Denise Hawkins.

He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Sue Bohrer (Greg) and Denise Ann Hawkins (Anthony); his grandchildren, Jacob Ray Bohrer (Carrie), Caleb Albert (Rachel), Megan Elaine Winkle (Andy), Regan Sue Bohrer RN (Justin Koeth), Ethan Wayne Hawkins (Danielle) and Emmy Marie Hawkins (Kodi Haas); and his great grandchildren, Austin Bohrer, Ryleann Bohrer, Natalie Bohrer, Olivia Bohrer, Isabelle Bohrer, Penelope Winkle, Evelynn Hawkins, Parker Winkle and Orson Bohrer.
