It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa K. McAfee of Sarahsville, Ohio, born in Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence B. Bates and Ruth E. Smith Bates; and her sisters, Linda Bates Pangle Shuster, Margaret Bates Abbott Marlow and Judith Ann Bates.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey A. McAfee; her children, Jami J. McAfee of Caldwell, Jeffrey A. McAfee of Cambridge, Samantha H. Scott (Joseph) of Sarahsville, Hunter L. Farnesworth (Thomas) of Caldwell and Alexzandria K. McAfee of Caldwell; and her siblings, Gerald L. Bates (Rebecca), Beverly J. Knepper of Canton, David W. Bates (Linda) of Sarahsville, Diane L. Fogle (Jeff) of Harriettsville and Brian D. Bates of Caldwell. She is also survived by grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
