He was predeceased by: his father Elmo; his son George Wilson; his granddaughters, Anitra and Andrea Caffey Wilson; his great grandchild Malik McCoy; and his siblings, Roy, Eugene, Hershel, Elmo Wilson, Earnestine Jones and Anna Wooten.
He is survived by: his children, Carl E Wilson (Sarah), Harvey L Wilson (Joanne) and Fannie L Parker (Robert) of Sandusky, Ohio.; his close friend Norma McFadden; the mother of his children Hattie Mae Wooten; his sister-in-law Lillie Wilson; his cousin Earline Rossell (James); his great-nephew Dwayne Lash; and also, James Cathey and Harvey Wooten. He is also survived by family, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren.
