He was predeceased by: his son Guy Woodruff; his stepson Micky Smith; and his parents, Floyd Woodruff and Edna Woodruff. He is survived by: his wife Betty Woodruff (Miller); his children, Gail Carroll (Don), Christine Byler (Gary), Gary Woodruff (Cindy) and Bill Woodruff (Mona); and his stepchildren, Teri, Faith, Cathy, Sheila, Rick and Chick. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great grandchild.
