He is survived by: his former spouse Jean Lippus; his children, Debra Brady (Richard), Tyra Lehmann (John), William H. Smith III and Shane Smith (Susan); his grandchildren, Christine Mack (David), Ryan Brady (Allyson), Carrie Underwood (Chad), Taylor Forthofer (Justin) and Taryn Klecha (Daniel); his sister-in-law Judy Smith (Jim); and his great grandchildren, Elinor, Warren, Miles and David. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
