With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Viola Ridgeway of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Virginia Viola may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virginia Viola touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Jordan and Eliza Jordan (McClellan); and her sister Nina Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Archie Halfhill (Deb) of Fostoria, OH, Donall Ridgeway (Haley) of Lorain, OH and Danell Ridgeway; and her brother Donald Jordan (Nancy) of Monroeville, OH. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
