We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2020, at the age of 98, Vera Ulmer of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonas Andrew and Emma Cook (Hundley); her husband Walter H. Ulmer, Sr.; her stepson Walter H. Ulmer, Jr.; and her daughters-in-law, Lois and Doris Ulmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie Porter of Sandusky; her stepson Charles Ulmer (Kaye) of Huron; her grandchildren, Lisa Hall (Greg) of Clyde and William Porter, Jr. (Michelle) of Huron; her great grandchildren, Kayla Lakner (Alex) of Castalia, William Porter, III (Jorden) of Bay and Ryan Hall of Clyde; her great great grandchildren, Ellie Porter of Bay Village, Emma and Ava Lakner of Castalia; and her sisters, Marcile Rickets of Bellefontaine, Alice Maiani of Bellevue and Doris Sheldon of Alger, OH.. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2211 Mills Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
