He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Andrew and Gertrude C. Yeager (Hiss); his wife Nancy J. "Sam" Yeager (Weis); and his siblings, Mike Yeager and Mary Wollf.
He is survived by: his children, Christine L. "Chris" Christiansen (Todd) of Toledo and Eric L. Yeager (Hilaria Walton) of Sandusky; his siblings, Dave Yeager (Sally) of Toledo, Carol Collins (Howard) of Sandusky, Paul Yeager (Marsha) of Huron, OH and Julie McCormick (Mike) of Sandusky; his brother-in-law Dave Wollf of Sandusky; and his friend Sue Hoelzer of Sandusky. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the David F. Koch Funeral & Cremation Services (520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A prayer was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the David F. Koch Funeral Home (520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (428 Tiffin Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Cancer Services of Erie County, 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870; Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
