He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Karbler and Ruby Karbler (Joseph); and his brothers-in-law, Carl E. Riesterer and David C. Hottmann. He is survived by: his wife Jean Karbler (Hottmann); his children, Susan Karbler of Sandusky and David Karbler of Madison, WI; his sister Mary Alice Riesterer (Karbler) of Bellevue; his niece Bev Mix (David); and his nephews, Tim Riesterer (Martha) and Tom Riesterer (Linda). He is also survived by five great nephews, one great niece; and two great-great nephews.
