He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Schwerer and Marcella Schwerer (Herman); his wife Judy Schwerer (Maroni); his sister Mary Jean Howard; and his parents-in-law, Marino and Ann Maroni.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Shickley (Jim); his sister Marcia Thomas of Bluffton; his siblings-in-law, Rose Duskin of Bellevue and Ken Maroni of New York; his pet Callie; and his niece Patricia Messina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
