He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Damko (O'Neill); his children, William Damko (Jean) and Ellen Brink (David); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Samuel (Meghan) and Mary Damko; and his brother-in-law Patrick O'Neill (Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
