With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Elwood Brownell of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Brownell and Lillian Barbara Brownell (Liphart); his granddaughters, Erika Lynn McLaughlin and Marina Ann Elizabeth Brownell; his brother Gerald B. "Jerry" Brownell; and his half-brother Eugene Liphart.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Brownell (Dickman); his family, Rhonda Lang (David), Kevin Brownell (Lisa), Christine "Chris" McLaughlin (Dan), Rodney "Rod" Brownell (Kay), Steven "Steve" Brownell (Kristy) and Lori Thom (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Heather Zess (Jason), Holly Ensign (Jarret), Ryan (Holly), Nick (Kara), Chase (Meredith), Tyler Brownell (Dana), Beth Ann Williams (Matt), Dr. Rachel, Sean Brownell, Cody Brownell (U. S. Army), Allison Dawkins (Jacob), Jacob, Jaden and Lillie Thom; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Max, Cal Zess, Sonny Ensign, Mylan Appleton, Sicily, Ella, Dawson, Hayden, Berkley, Lucas, Caroline Hott, Billie, Kelly Brownell, Landon, Lyllah, Ledger Williams, Penelope Dawkins and Ashlynn Thom; his goddaughter Kellie Reed (Tod); and his sisters, Diane Games (Buddy) and Sharon Roth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
