Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Smith of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 80, on December 1, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frederick and Elizabeth Frances Smith (Kotasek); and his siblings, Geraldine "Jeri" Mischler, James "Jim" and Carl Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Smith (Renwand); his children, Tina Koch (David) of Sandusky, Rene' Franklin (Greg) of Huron, Dean Smith (Nancy) of Westerville, OH and Larry Smith (Danielle Fresch) of Vermilion; and his siblings, Marlene Robertson of Cincinnati, OH and Richard "Dick" Smith (Mimi) of Collins, OH. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, wearing of masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in his memory to "Serving Our Seniors", 310 E. Boalt Street, # A, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
