He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Fay Holcomb (Trout); his wife Kathy Holcomb (Hoerner); and his daughter Kim Holcomb. He is survived by: his sons, Lance Holcomb (Lori) of Sandusky, Michael Landoll (Cheryl) and Rob Holcomb (Nicole); his grandchildren, Devin, Katie, Mallory, Adam, Lexi and Amber; and his siblings, Sandy Reineck (Jim) of Norwalk and James Holcomb of Sandusky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
