He was predeceased by: his parents, James Francis and Marie Clementine Fitz (Ineichen); and his siblings, Jean Thompson, Margaret Briehl and John J. Fitz.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Fitz (Weber); his sons, Robert F. Fitz of Casa Grande, AZ and David J. Fitz (Stella) of Margate, FL; and his sisters, Joan Hughes of Spokane, WA and Frances Hipp of Tiffin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and his buddy and companion his dog.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
