He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Joseph and Mildred McLaughlin (Hiss); his brother Harry McLaughlin; and his siblings-in-law, Bertha Scheid and Charles Palmison.
He is survived by: his wife Rita M. McLaughlin (Palmison); his family, Michael McLaughlin (Kristin) of Huron, Karen Quinn (Kevin) of Aurora, IN, Jon McLaughlin (Michele) of Sunbury, OH and Steven McLaughlin (Vicki) of Delaware, OH; his grandchildren, Eric McLaughlin, Erin Caldwell (Jason), Kerri Cochran (Kent), Kelly Quinn, Abby and Brooke McLaughlin; and his great grandchild Connor Caldwell.
