He was predeceased by: his father Arthur H. Deitzel; and his sons, Harold J. and William E. Deitzel. He is survived by: his close friend Hiltrud Morrison; his children, Robert E. Deitzel Sr. (Dorothy), Michael W. Deitzel and Pamela J. Deitzel; and his sisters, Linda Davis (Doug) and Mary Chilcote. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
