Rita (Pecord) Longenecker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita (Pecord) Longenecker of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oliver Pecord and Mary Missler (Missler); her husband Clinton R. Longenecker, Jr.; her uncle Otmar Missler; her children, Marsha Hunt (Warren), Dr. Clinton Longenecker (Cindra), Dr. Paul Longenecker (Susan) and Richard Longenecker (Deborah); her grandchildren, Neil, Ellen, Christopher (Katie), Adam, Laura, Clinton, Shannon (Nathan), Stephen (Gabby), Kayla and Jack; her great grandchildren, Katelynn, Christopher and Oliver; her former husband Clint; and her daughter Yvonne.

Due to current conditions caused by the ongoing pandemic, we are offering a Live Stream of the Graveside Service for Rita beginning at 12:15m on Saturday, January 16, 2021 for those who wish to attend virtually.

Donations can made in Rita's name to Central Catholic High School and will be appreciated.
