With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ann Grodi-Conley of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Braeunig; her former husband Darwin Julius Grodi, Sr.; her daughter Deanna M. "DeDe" England (David); her grandson Lance Corporal James Kennedy; her husband Augusta Conley; and her stepson Jack Conley.
She is survived by: her daughter Debby S. Keen; her grandchildren, Angela Flores, Geri Newberry, Amber and Jerome Gillman; and her stepchildren, Darwin J. "Buddy" Grodi, Jr., Steve, Bill, Chris Conley, Laura Ann Walker, Deborah K. Gremling, Kimberly Sue Dion, Lisa L. Shoemaker and Tammy Conley. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that the memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
