He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thornton Myers; his daughters, Pamela Vanness (Myron) of Oxford and Marjan "Maggie" Myers (Luigi Iafano) of Livonia, Michigan; his grandchildren, David Ian Vanness (Shawn) of Sommerville and Ashley Lucas (Willie) of Oxford, Ohio; and his great grandchildren, Audrina Lucas, Willie Lucas Jr. and Calvin Vanness.
