She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Blakely and Mae Ollie Blakely Sr. (Smith); her husband Elorise Gray of Waynesboro, MS; her siblings, Hattie Edwards, Laura Blakely, Lena Blakely, Annie Ruth Ramey, Elmer Blakely and A. D. Blakely; her children, Larry Gray, Gladys Gray-Collymore and Elnoria Gray; and her great grandchild Darien "Princess" Gray.

She is survived by: her children, Elorise Gray, Jr., Dennis Gray, Melvin Gray (Sonja), Rene Newell (Lonnie), Alicia Gray and Deadra Gray of Houston, TX; and also, Eloise Lowe of Boston, Evonne Henry (R. V.) and Omega Tabb. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
