He was predeceased by: his father Charles Perdue; his wife Cora Perdue (Fleeman); his son Larry Perdue; his son-in-law Jim Smith; his grandson Jerry Boyd Gilliam; and his siblings, Denver, Charles "Buddy", Hank and Violet.

He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Levine (Nick) of Sandusky, Connie Smith of Sandusky, Mike Perdue (Shelly) of Sandusky and Harry (Carolyn); his daughter-in-law Sheryl Perdue of Cincinnati, OH; and his granddaughter Susie Caudill (James). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
