It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Spore (Sandusky, Ohio), who passed away on June 10, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Leland Spore; and his sister Leslie Spore Wisman. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Hill (Bradley) of Crestwood, KY and Nicholas Spore (Rebekah Beran) of Jeffersonville, IN; his grandchildren, Adelaide and Elliott; his mother Janet Spore of Sandusky; his brothers, Jan Spore (Ann) of Cincinnati and Richard Spore (Tracy) of Sandusky; and his child Susan Barnard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

“I'm still in shock after just finding this out, about my friend, Pete. I was just getting ready to contact Pete to arrange a visit to Sandusky to help me cheer up our old bandmate, John Ross. We played in the Norwalk band, The Silver String Band, many many years ago. Not only was he the nicest guy you could ever meet, he was also a fantastic bass player. Pete locked into a groove with my drums, like a Swiss watch. Always had a smile on his face. Never seen him upset or angry. Godspeed, bud”
