He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis and Edna R. Hennessy (Martin); his siblings, Martha LaLonde and Jay Hennessy; his niece June Ann Smith; and his great-nephew Jay Smith.
He is survived by: his great-nephews, Jack Smith, Jr. (Becky), Jeff Smith (Elayne) and Jerry Smith (Valerie); his nephew Jack Smith, Sr. (Rita Ambriati); and his close friends, Greg Mees (Margie), Fred Tripp, Randy Geiger and Paul Birktoft.
His family requested that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to "Meals on Wheels," or to the Erie County Senior Center, 620 E. Water Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
