She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carter and Ruth Carter (Schweigart); her husband Willie Brown; and her brothers, William and David Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Phenicie of Sandusky, Laura Toth (David) of Brunswick and Jennifer Rickard of Sandusky, OH; and her brother Thomas Carter (Irene) of Toledo, OH. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A prayer was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (429 Central Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
