It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Howard Jr. (Sandusky, Ohio), born in Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Howard Sr. (Evans) and Oscar Howard; his stepmother Mattie Howard; and his brothers, Barron and Grandver Earl Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Easter Mae Howard; his children, Sheila Harrell (Jessie) of Waynesboro, AL, Denise Stanley (Herold) of Luverine, AL, Pamela Walk of Sandusky, OH, Melissa McKellar of Sandusky, OH, Latonya McKellar of Sandusky, OH, Darran Howard (Linda) of Waynesboro, MS and Michael Shine (Laquita) of Sandusky, OH; his sisters, Dorothy Calvin of Milton, MA, Ruby Howard of Dorchester, MA, Essie Howard of Corona, CA, Anniel McDonald (Clifford) of Waynesboro, MS, Sandra Howard of Waynesboro, MS, Shirley William (Charlie) of Waynesboro, MS and Vanessa Blakely (Milton) of Lithonia; his sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Howard of Morrow and Lee Ernest Howard of Waynesboro, MS; his uncle Ernest Hayes of Highland, CA; and his cousins, Mildred Thomas of Chicago, IL, Mattie Richards-Irby and Betty Bell of Sandusky, OH. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great- grand children.
