He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mingus (Mary) of Sandusky and Larry Mingus (Janet) of Sandusky; and his siblings, Patricia Hart and Frank Tornichio. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
